Intel Xeon E5 2670-V3 ES

Hey guys,

Was wondering if a Intel Xeon E5 2670-V3 ES would work with a Asrock X99E-ITX/AC motherboard? It is an engineering sample that is my only issues?

Lists 2 revisions of the normal version so it has a chance, think Asrock are the best boards for Xeon and ES support.

Always a bit of a shot in the dark with ES stuff.

If its a stepping 1 with a QE** or QF** code on the heatspreader then it probably wont work. A stepping 2 QG** (and late QF**) will as its the same as retail.

cpu will work fine i have same es cpu in the same board, hope this helps
