Right im gonna overclock my new 2500k for the first time. Im gonna go take it easy and take it straight to 4.0GHz and then increase by 200mhz after that.
My question is how many time should i let intelburn test run, i read somewhere 50 is that right?

Well i got my cpu overclocked to 4.6Ghz i think thats as far as im willing to go as the temps were getting into the high 70s when running intelburn test which i let run 50times.

I got the vcore set to auto (never went above 1.390v) and i let the bios do the overclock (auto overclock option).
I started at 4.0Ghz and then increased it by 200mhz every time till i got to 4.6Ghz.
Does this sound ok to you guys :)

Also i overclocked the memory, simply by choosing the xms option (i think thats its name) and now my memory is running at 1866 :)

I love this board.
