Hi guys I am trying to test my [email protected] for stability. The Vcore is currently 1.36875V. I first ran Intel burn 'standard' test with 5 iterations and it failed on 2nd iteration as Vcore was 1.36250V. So I upped it by one notch to the current value of 1.36875V.
I ran the same test again and after 5 iterations it passed the test. Not satisfied I just increased the iterations to 10 and ran the same test again. This time on the 4th iteration it failed:confused:.
I then decided to test my cpu with 'maximum' test and lo it passed after 22s.Lol. I was like what the heck is happening. Also the temperature readings on CoreTemp were fluctuating sometimes from 65C to 52C and viceversa. So guys what could be the problem; is it could be some sort of bug?

I can't figure out how to make the bootable cd with memtest. I followed all the instructions for making it in magic iso from tutorials i'd found but it won't boot. Might be my dvd rw drives which are the same model and 2 years old so i've just ordered 2 more as replacements and we shall see if that makes a difference.

If it's unstable then the fails will be randomly unstable when it constantly passes 20 or more runs I'd say it's safe to run prime.
