I've recently switched from Cosy to Intelligent Octopus Flux (IOF) as on paper it's the best option for me for the summer. Octopus are in control of my battery but so far the battery has only discharged to about 50% of it's capacity during the peak rate 4pm to 7pm period. Indeed there is no benefit to discharging the battery at all outside these times because the import and export rates are always the same. Any surplus solar generation is always exported once the battery is fully charged.

What are others seeing?

Will things improve after the first few days?

Read through all the paperwork. If the discharge is stopping dead at 50% then it's possible that this is a predetermined limit, presumably to leave you with some battery capacity for your own use.
