Hi all,

I've just bought a Razer Copperhead mouse and I'm fining it REALLY uncomfortable to use.

I find the buttons are in places I can't reach and I just really don't like the feel of it.

I've been using an intellimouse optical since the dawn of time, and I find it VERY comfortable to use. It's probably the best mose I've ever used ergonomically.

The accuracy of the Razor is much better, it's really VERY good...

SO..... I think I'd like to take both mice apart and put the insides of the Razor into the shell of the Intellimouse.

Does anyone think this would work?

Cheers,

G

I'v never heard of it being done before. You would have to give it a try i guess.

Buy a deathadder you wont be disappointed.

You would have to be really precise with laser placement as it will need to be the same height and angle etc. You may get away with cutting the bottom off the razer and doing a mechanical fix. Outside of that the mouse buttons shouldn't be an issue but the scroll wheel might be.

In other words it can be done but it's not easy.

The mouse you using an IE3.0 because i used the IE3.0 for years love it bought CM Storm and fudging hate it feel of it is terrible for me want me IE3.0 back lol so would DeathAdder be same case as this?

If your using a mouse for gaming then you should be looking at:

Razer DeathAdder
Razer Salmosa
MS Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1a

DA is best for palm users, the other 2 for finger tip users.

Just looking at the pics of the Habu, the buttons are on the wrong side for me and I'd prefer to have them one on each side, but it looks much more suitable than the copperhead from first glance.

/edit I'm a LEFT HANDED fingertip user btw.

/edit It is Intellimouse Optical 1.1 5btn that I'm comfortable with.

One cool feature of the Habu is that is comes with two different 'side button' panels - you can choose which panel best suits your grip. The DPI buttons under the scroll wheel are pretty nifty too...

Im left handed too, and used a copperhead for about 3 years the tracking is terrible compared to other mice, also they brake so easily I think I RMA'd at least 5 Copperheads with a broken wire until my warranty finally ran out and I bought a Steelseries XAI really good mouse, im just trying to get my sens right still after the switch! :P

The Habu is a right handed mouse as is the Deathadder.

I.E 3.0 is a better mouse than the razer , u wont be able to do a transfer like you said i can imagine its extremely hard

Copperhead is often slated as the worst Razer mouse

The Diamondback (was out before it) is better, and the DeathAdder (came out after it) is much better
