Intel's Ivy Bridge chips launch using '3D transistors'

I was getting at the fact it says Intel LAUNCH. Does this mean they have been released a week early then?
 
Doesn't actually mentioned it's been released, it's just sloppy wording from the press as usual.
 
Not a well thought out article. First they say:

"the first to feature what it describes as a "3D transistor"."

Then the analyst sums up with:

"Intel is making leaps ahead using proven technology,"
