Intel's next-gen Core i7-6950X pre-orders hit $2349 at NCIX

Probably just a con to get some publicity and milk the people that have been told to wait for Broardwell-E, cos Broadwell-E will destroy all. And a price drop would seem to take some of the sting out of the disappointing performance.

These prices are not official and are inflated for pre-orders, with the normal pricing set to be somewhere around $1609, $1024, $602, and $422 for the Core i7-6950X, Core i7-6900K, Core i7-6850K and Core i7-6800K respectively.

Seems about right, in line with the list price of the E5-2697 v2s I use day to day. $1609 also looks about right considering they're single-CPU.

Still way outside the realms of realistic for personal users though.
