I've been looking around for a real life scoreboard to use at a charity softball event I'm helping to organise in the summer. Unfortunately no one seems to want to rent one to us, and purchasing one is going to cost about £2k.
So I'd like anyone that is interested to offer their time for charity for a writing piece of scoreboard software that will take the place of a hardware scoreboard - the idea will be to project it onto a wall continuously for the duration of the event, so I'd like it to be as visually alike to a real score board as possible and full screen display.
The input method should be keyboard/mouse for the initial set up and then just simple single keystrokes or mouse clicks for things like changing the score etc.
Here are some examples of score boards.

The board itself will need to display a number of variables
Team 1 Name (editable text or an image e.g. jpg)
Team 2 Name (editable text or an image e.g. jpg)
Team 1 Score (4 digits)
Team 2 Score (4 digits)
Number of innings (3 digits)
Game Timer (hhh:mm:ss to count from 0 to over 100 hours without resetting)
Space for sponsors logo (jpg image)
Possibly an editable scrolling info area as per some of the scoreboards
If you could get back to me by the end of next week - Friday 3rd of march. I'd need to see some examples of previous work, how you propose to do it and a realistic time to complete it.
As it is for charity you will get lots of big-ups on our site and such!
Thanks very much - if you have any q's just email me.
Cheers
Dan
