Interesting picture (DS LITE)

Was looking through another well known forum and I looked in the DS LITE thread (mooosive thread)

And it says in there that GBA cart sticks out of the DS LITE when fully inserted.

This is new news to me, I kinda play GBA games a lot so this is a little bit of a knock (nothing massive)

Did anyone else know about this?

What are your thoughts?

yeah it does, not too much of an issue for me tbh I dont very often play gba games anyway.

I keep a gba cart in atm just to keep the hole filled up but the new one comes with a cap to put over the hole so no need really.

I expect on the next gen handheld the gba support will be phased out like the normal gb was when the original ds was released.

Didn't the GBA:SP do the same with GB carts?

I guess it's the only way to retain support for the format whilst shrinking the unit down, as you can't really put the cart anywhere else, and it's quite a large lump compared to the actual console.

Saw that picture before, and whilst it doesn't look great, it won't hamper playing at all, so thats a good thing!

how small are the DS carts! i thought the GBA games were tiny
