Interesting Statistics of Power Usage Over GPU Years

4 SSD
1 HDD

All using Wall meter

All Running Idle
570GTX - Using 225-250w of power
7970 - Using 200-250w
7990 - Using 400-450w (ULPS was off so running both cards)
2x 980 -using 100w-130w

Load (Firestrike)
570GTX - Using 350-425w of power
7970 - Using 300-380w
7990 - Using 450-600w (ULPS was off so running both cards)
2x 980 -using 380-450w

i put this together over the years of having gpu's i like power efficiency & very interested in how cooling works.

only went back to a 570 as my 7990 died my system is around 2years old now

its not the fact of power saving, its the fact of moving tech getting better

& it will save money, if your buying new rig you "could" buy a smaller PSU. but we all love epeen here so no one will:p
