Hello Chaps

Just had a play with my Shuttle which was in a bit of a state due to neglect, broken block etc.

So, fitted a XSPC Delta V3 CPU block, stuck with the old Alphacool NB block and the AquaGratix jobby on my old 1950XTX. The whole lot is linked up with 8/10mm hose and compression connectors.

The radiator is an old unused 2 x 92mm one I bought ages ago, I think it's a GTX Extreme.

So far I have only connected one fan, I need to buy a couple!!

Anyway, with a stock E6700 and the 1950XTX at stock speeds I was expecting reasonably high temps due to the tiny rad' and one fan missing.

Anyway, 29 centigrade in Coretemp, a bit higher in Orthos but I shall let it settle a bit before pushing it.

Should drop the temps oodles more with the extra fan.

Best of all the rad' mounts on the back of the Shuttle and once I replace the reservoir with a fillport the cover will actually fit on and it will look normalish.

Hopefully, I'll get above 3.6Ghz once I have the fans, which was always my main aim.

I have 2 questions:

Do 4850's run hotter than 1950's?

Does anybody have the measurements of fillports, can't find them on the DD site.

Cheers
