Interesting win7 problem copying files

I don't get a "time remaining" come up, is it because its a large amount of data or what?

If your moving hundreds/thousands of small files, it'll take a lot longer to calculate the time, especially if you are transfering via USB, which i am presuming your are?

It's a lot of data to move even via Sata speeds, let alone USB2.0.

Yeah, as above. That's a tremendous amount of data to move. For shifting that quantity of files I would use something like richcopy:

It ha a good 4 hours to calculate, that screenshot was taken right near the end!
