Weird one, for some reason with my IEMs I get extreme interference when I plug my headphones into the in-flight entertainment system when flying.

These planes have the single jack connector (not the old school double connector).

Is there anything I can do (or buy) to reduce this interference?

Unlesd your earphones are faultly then the problem is the plane and the answer is bring your own inflight emtertainment :p

Edit: unless you need some weird magical converter that you can buy for a 'reasonable price' from the flight staff lol

It's definitely not the plane as I tried their rubbish freebie headphones (again single jack) and no interference. It's as if my IEM jack needs extra shielding?

Do the IEMs have a microphone?

I wonder if they have a 4 pole jack and the plane has standard stereo 3 pole, that is causing the issue.
