I am having some problems with my Mac Mini's analogue sound with regard to the level of the output and interference so have decided to bypass the mini's analogue sound in one of two ways:-
1) DAC or external sound card + 2.1 speakers (was thinking the Aego M's)
2) go pure digital (Abit iDome or Logitech 5400)
Which route would you recommend or other alternatives ?,
It should be noted that I also wish to hook up my PC and that I've had my FPS1000 for years and have never actually put the rear speakers behind me, that is to say I'm not particularly fussed about surround sound.
