Evening folks. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with this problem.
I'm getting a crackling/hissing sound, through my headphones, when using the socket on the front of my Antec Sonata III case. There's no problem when I use the rear socket, so it's not my headphones or the onboard sound that's at fault.
The cable from the header to the I/O panel runs tight across the mobo, so I'm guessing it's probably electrical interference? Could this be fixed by some sort of shielding or better cable routing? Or is it something else causing problems?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
