Interference with telly ?

Hello,

I'm having a slight problem with my computer interfering with my telly.

When my old system was on the telly wouldn't get signalon certain channels,
i thought it wascos i had only one side of the case on but now my new system does it too.

the tv and comp are in the same room and the TV uses an indoor aerial anybody else had this ?

I have the same problem, as soon as PC turns off, i get the picture back.

Thought it may be because im using a HDTV which also acts as my monitor, iv noticed that if i unplug the DVI cable from my monitor that the picture quality comes back somewhat.

poor shielding on components/cables and or the tv. anything electrical creates an electromagnetic field, which interfears with other electrical devices, depending on the frequencies. Get an aerial from outside wired into your room, or a signal booster (these things work wonders, turned a 100% static image with no sound into a 100% clear image back in the day). Either that or cover your pc/telewires in tin foil.
