Interior Smells of Paint

After getting a roof respray, my interior has a fairly strong paint smell, and I was just wondering what's the best way of getting rid of it? I've just put 4 cut lemons in there and will leave it in there overnight. Anything else I can do to rid the smell?

On a slightly more series note, have you tried using some Oust or something?

lol. That or coffee in the carpet, never got rid of the smell in my 330ci when my g/f upended a MC one onto the floor.

It'll take a while to go but it'll go by itself. Paint thinner gets into everything because it's so volatile.

i don't see why it should smell of paint unless they spilled a load of thinners into it.

It will smell for a few days. After having my quarter panel sprayed, I noticed the same.

It'll subside shortly. Leave your car with the windows down if it is bothering you that much.

Yep, as an alternative drive around with the windows up, and turn your car into a paint fume hotbox for a few days.

when on of my friends split red wine in my old car i used oust and drove round with windows open for a few days, eventually left

Yep, it'll go on it's own. Just leave the windows open a little and it'll disappear a little quicker.

Personally, I quite like the fumes

Some paint brands smell more than others so it will just depend on what they used.

I'd say try something that neutralises smells instead of trying to cover it up, one of the hoursehold air neutraliser spray jobs might help...and keeping the windows open as much as possible obviously.
