Intermitant knocking noises?

Hi Guys..

My 01 X Reg Daewoo Lanos has been making some rather funny noises since I have done a nice trek from Manchester and back the other day...

At first it sounded like the radiator, but it sounds like something is getting knocked about when I accellerate or Revv in first, I can hear it whilst driving in higher gears.. any ideas?

Does it do it when the engine is hot too? And does the noise get faster as the revs increase?

That should have been cant hear it in higher gears... it seems to when I rev it in first and as it gets past 2k... I did it from a stand still last night.. not sure what it could be... the engine isnt overheating or anything, seems to be running normally, so gonna leave it till tomorrow to let my uncle look at it..

it could be the engine mountings, if you hear it on fast take offs and blips of the throtle.It may still be the radiator being pulled as the engine moves. Sounds like a two man job, one to rev it ,the other to try and locate the noise

Problem solved.. turns out it was a belt on the A/C unit, and the Tensioner had broken, so we pulled the belt off and problem > Solved
