Firstly the symptoms:
I have an irregular but very frequent intermittent buzz sound. Each buzz lasts for a second or less.
When playing a twitch stream or my usual game (Black Desert online) this also coincides with very brief (a fraction of a second) stutters in movement.
My system:
BaseBoard Product: ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO
BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends Inc. 1802, 01/12/2020
SMBIOS Version: 3.2
Embedded Controller Version: 255.255
BIOS Mode: UEFI
BaseBoard Version: Rev 1.xx
Secure Boot State: Off

Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "10.0.19041.1151"

Virtualization-based security Not enabled
Device Encryption Support Elevation Required to View
Hyper-V - VM Monitor Mode Extensions Yes
Hyper-V - Second Level Address Translation Extensions Yes
Hyper-V - Virtualization Enabled in Firmware No
Hyper-V - Data Execution Protection Yes
Sound System: very old Logitech Z5500 speakers connected via the three direct input cables.
TV/Monitor: Samsung QE49Q7FAM
Remedy Attempts:
I have disconnected everything. I turned off and unplugged my i phone, i pads, WiFi booster, ethernet hub and USB hubs. All that remained plugged in and live were of course the computer, TV and Logitech sound system.
Firstly I switched off and unplugged the sound system and removed the 3 jack plugs from the computer, allowing the sound and video to be passed through the Display port cable (I didn't think that was possible) to the Samsung TV. The Problem persisted.
I reinstated the Logitech sound system and turned off and unplugged my Samsung TV and also its controller box so now I have no graphics but could still hear the game running and the intermittent buzz.
I disconnected the display port cable from the graphics card but could still hear the intermittent buzz
I removed the Nvidia card completely from the system and used onboard GFX and the issue was still present.
The issue is evident when using the Nvidia GFX card and also when using the onboard GFX or even when no GFX card or cables are connected (sound only via the Logitech Z-5500 direct input)
I am at my whit's end with this and have no idea where to go next. Do any of you Guru's recognise these symptoms or have any idea how to rectify the issue please?
Edited to add the buzzing noise is almost like that heard when mobile phones interfere with radio sets etc. BUT not multiple buzzes at once, just one buzz, then a space of time then another buzz. Also, it doesn't seem to happen when just using windows, searching the internet, doing spreadsheets etc. Only when playing the game or watching video.
All the best
Bob
