Got a strange problem with my PC at work.
Every so often, maybe every hour or two, it seems to "refresh" the interface. Menu bars and toolbars in open applications all "flicker" or repaint themselves. It goes on for about five seconds then stops.
During this time, network connectivity is disrupted. If I have any explorer windows open on network shares then these close as the shares become unavailable for a few seconds then return when everything settles down.
Totally bizarre - anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: Looking through the event log, it might be group policy being applied as this seems to be happening very regularly. Just a hunch and will check if the events correlate with future occurrences. If so then doesn't explain why it's applying so frequently or causing the disruption.
