Evening folks!

Bit of an odd one this, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable most of the time but in this scenario I'm pretty stumped - randomly whilst playing Path of Exile (and very rarely outside of it), my computer will black screen - sometimes play a repeating sound over and over and wait until I manually force a shutdown.

Other times it will black screen and the sound will continue, but all input fails (Ctrl Alt Del etc, Alt F4, Win + D etc)

I've monitored temperatures and they all seem pretty healthy (80 degrees max on GPU and ~60 on CPU)

I'm running a 3930k Asus RIVE with a Radeon R390X

Googling produces a lot of random results with no real answers or suggestions, is there any kind of check I can do within Windows, or run a program until a crash occurs to be able to see what might have caused it? I don't have any spare components to test individually these days, unfortunately!

Thanks in advance

Just out walking at the moment, it is the latest version of Windows 10, here is a list of what I have tried so far

MSI Afterburner to underclock the graphics card (I did contemplate playing with voltages but I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing)

Reformat with obvious fresh driver installs

I ran Uniengine benchmarks flawlessly to their expected performance levels, with zero issues - yet a few minutes after I ended them the crash happened anyway with nothing taxing open on the system

At a bit of a loss, I'd rather it be a catastrophic failure than what it is currently, intermittent problems are annoying

I would try disabling any power saving options in Windows 10, with my last pc it would goto sleep ,, then when you wake it the pc would waken OK but the monitor stayed black,, also if possible try a different monitor.
