Got a PC with me with a problem that iv never come across before & google well is throwing up a number of different reason to why its happening but not to why its intermittent & i dont know where to start so come here to ask the pro's.
Bascaily the system hang's/freezing what ever you want to call it during the boot up & get a message on screen "verifying dmi data pool" Until yesterday i had never heard of it before. But the problem dont happen all the time, some times the PC will boot up windows fine plays games surf the web etc not a problem but other times it dont want to know.
Not sure if it has anything to do with it but if i go in to the bios then back out it boots up with out a problem, Booting up & not going in to the bios is hit & miss....Im thinking its just coincide its like that but whats the chances its got some thing to do with the problem?
So what would be the best way to working out the problem with the PC?
Specs are:
Phenom 9850
2GB DDR2
80GB hard drive
9800GT
Morthboard: abit A-N78HD
Windows 7
PSU corsair 400w
Cheers
