intermittent problem

Hi all, just upgraded my pc with an ATI 4500 512mb graphics.....but I am having intermittent problems, especially during gameplay.
The mouse (logitech mx518) seems to switch itself off for a few seconds, thus I am unable to control anything, some times I have to remove the usb lead and reconnect to get it to work.
Now the only thing I can think off is, its my psu, its only an Enermax 485w and its running -:
Gigabyte p35c-ds3r mobo, 2 x 2gb 6400 memory, 4500 ati graphics, Intel 6850 @3.0ghz cpu, Audigy 2 soundcard, seagate 500gb and a seagate 320gb HD's, two dvd writers, 3 x 120mm fans and a 200mm fan and a artic freezer pro cooler. Now my brain is saying this is a lot for such a little psu...is it right ?, is this the possible cause for the intermittent problems with the mouse.....and only when its being used hard....ie...company of heroes on full settings

Your PSU should cope OK with that, the Enermax will put out what it says on the box - and a bit more peak load. Problem doesn't sound PSU related anyway, driver or game (bug)related perhaps if it's only happening in one game.

Thanks for the replies guys, it just seems a bit odd that only under load does this happen. Also whilst playing games (again) say either BF1942 or COH both minimise down to desktop after about a couple of minutes....annoying and then this mouse problem, this is why I started to think "too small a psu"..
Mouse is fine in laptop, though its not running any games....time for a new mouse...doh (and maybe a new psu, if missus will allow it)
