Hi chaps..
Looking to get some new internal doors for my place.. the originals are all knotty pine, 4 panels (2 panels of glass in each.. even the bathroom
) but after measuring up i've realised my frames are 1900 x 700. The closest doors I can find in the likes of wickes/b&q et'c are 1981 x 762 and come with the information 'you can trim up to 12mm in width and height'.
Obviously I need to trim more off to fit the frame.. what happens here? They are softwood internal doors, so I imagine they are hollow to some extent so would I be shaving off the chunk of pine around the edges, potentially exposing the hollow door? Anyone got any funky door frame sizes recommend an approach.. do I look at bespoke doors (££
)?? All advice welcome! Thanks guys

and also covered in half peeled stickers, chunks missing, general 'last owner' care. Thanks for the heads up with directdoors, though their pine doors for £107 are still veneer, with a laminate core. They still have a limit on trimming but with the 711mm width i would be within the allowance.. but over double the price for the same materials i was eyeing up elsewhere
