Internal / external hard drive caddy

Hey guys

I built a new system but always need to plug in friends / clients drives for backup or cloning.

I have a usb 3 caddy but it's flakey when cloning. So I end up opening my case and dangling the drives in somehow.

Ideally I would like to have a caddy (if possible) that is wired in and I can hot swap drivers.

Open to an external one but not sure usb is the answer

I assume that you don't have eSATA?

What make is your caddy? Also, are you using the built in cloning facility or just closing to an internal drive?

Sadly my case has no bays for DVD drives or esata ports.

I was thinking something internal but I guess I am probably not gonna find that.
