Internal fan controller?

I currently have the coolermaster silencio 352 case (nothing too fancy-bit plan actually)
I have an hate for optical drives, things in the 5.25 bay etc. but i need a fan controller for a sp120 and 2 x af120
However i would like it inside the case if possible, is there such thing as an internal fan controller or will i have to buy a normal one and try and enclose it myself?

NOTE: changed requirements - i have a silverstone fortress ft03.... See below

Yeah, they are pretty cheap though, around 4 quid I think. Could maybe get a few of them.

Might not be the most practical, but it's the only internal kinda fan controller i've seen.
 
If your fans were PWM it would be easy. Use a PWM fan splitter with molex power connected to PSU and CPU fan header on motherboard.

As they are not you might get Tealc to build you one of his custom PWM to Analog converters. He just moved houses so don't know if he's got his work station setup yet.
 
No they are normal 3 pin fans (didnt get the pwm versions of the corsairs)
Wonder if i could get a 3.5" fan controller (akasa etc) and put it in an enclosure..
 
Look at Tealc's custom builds. He's great to deal with and does a quality job for very reasonable price. Nice thing of using motherboard CPU fan socket for PWM signal is fan speed is regulated by CPU heat/demand for airflow. Means case fans idle quietly when system is not working hard and only speed up as needed. Using PWM control i7 980 under TC14PE in Define R2 cases w/ 3x TY-140 intake fans idle temp is 24-29c@660-750rpm; full load rendering graphics is 44-49c@950-1050rpm. That's on a Gigabyte mobo using their EasyTune6 software to setup temperature:fan speed 30c@30%rpm & 70c@100%rpm. Asus uses Qfan & Fan Xpert. Speed Fan is good too.

I do have one mostly built somewhere so I don't really need to worry about my work station for the minute.

I build them with 3 fan outputs but they can handle more if your needs change. I've sold quite a few of these things and use one myself. :)

I have now got the silverstone fortress ft03 which has no room for a built in fan controller, but would like a way of being able to control 4 fans (2 x af120 and 2 x sp120 - both 3 pin)
Dont fancy putting all 4 of them on the motherboard nor do i want to connect them by molex and have them running at full pelt all the time...
I have seen a fan board, molex to 6 x 3 pin fans but same thing again i cannot control them

There is enough room for a small simple fan controller....
Any ideas??
 
My PWM converter can handle 4 SP/AF. It should give around 11.5v top end speed down to less than 5v at that sort of current.

I sold the one or two I had made up a few weeks ago.

I'm not aware of any solution that works the same as mine, that's why I made it in the first place, plus being too tight to buy PWM fans to replace the dozen or so 3 pinners I have accumulated.

The fan speed is controlled by the PWM signal off the motherboard which is modified by the circuit and turns it into a more or less straight voltage. A trimmer sets the aggressiveness of the fan response curve. I've got videos, graphs and tutorials throughout the thread on its use.

I make them to order basically. I do sometimes have a few semi-complete ones kicking about but I don't think I do at the moment. They take me around an hour or so to produce.

I've lost count how many I've produced for forum members and I have refined the design over the years to it's current state which works really well.
