Internal fuse keeps blowing

Hi,

My setup is a Denon 3312 and the Monitor Audio Radius HD package. I've had it for just over 2 years and it appears the 370hd Sub has stopped powering up. I've changed the power lead, but it still does not power up. No LEDs light up, so it appears to be just dead.

After changing the internal fuse, powering up the sub blows the fuse. The power led briefly lights up, and nothing is connected to the sub.

A couple of questions:
Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot the sub?
Any repair shops in central london that come recommended?

Will call Monitor Audio tomorrow.

Thanks

If the internal fuse keeps blowing then really you must stop trying new fuses. Something has let go in the circuit; Possibly a capacitor that has then caused a cascade failure in a transistor. Putting further new fuses in is likely to make the problem worse.

Speaking to Monitor Audio is the best plan. Good luck.

Sounds like a capictor problem tbh, check for any bulged/spewed ones there maybe a faulty one a bit of charge.

I had a TV where a massive 9v capacitor had spewed and it would run for so long them black screen, unplugging and letting the power drain would fix it for 5mins. Take it to a sparkie if your unsure
