Internal PLL Overvoltage (unclear)

I Have done a lot of google searching to do with "Internal PLL Overvoltage" and the answers are always rather unclear, atm I have it enabled with a 4.4 overclock but some people suggest it should not be used until overclocks of around 4.7-4.8?

Hi, running a 4820k:4.6ghx mobo a Asus x79 DLX, l had to Enable > Internal PLL Overvoltage to reach this speed.

Remember all CPU's are not equal what settings are good for one may not suite another.

Ok, yeah I was just interested as it has always been enabled in my bios so I have never tried it disabled.
