Internal USB

Looking at my chosen motherboard and case details it appears to me that all USB sockets on the motherboard are allocated to ports on the case. But I will have a internal device which needs USB. If I use one of the motherboard sockets then I'll have non-functional ports on the case and I'd prefer not to have that. The only alternative would seem to be to have an internal hub. What do people here do for this?

I don't have it yet but I'm planning a GBT Z490 Aorus Extreme in a Fractal Define 7XL. As I see it the plugs for the case match all the available mobo internal USB port sockets, leaving nothing spare.
