Internet access in XP

I ran the network connection setup wizard after reinstalling Windows XP. I tried using my internet browser, but it cannot find any servers.

When I type ipconfig in command prompt, it says nothing about IP addresses, network adapters or anything like that, there is a single line saying "Windows IP configuration".

I have not touched the connections of my network since the reinstall, and it was working fine before then. My computer is connected to a router (which is connected to 2 other computers) which is connected to my modem.

How would I go about setting up my internet connection?

TIA :)

Drivers are now installed.

That was the first time I'd installed Windows in my life, and I just expected them to be installed and work automatically (funny, Linux is ready for internet usage straight after install).

I just installed my chipset drivers, and now it works. :)

Thanks guys.
