The flat we're buying is listed on the Royal Mail's website, comes up in searches when putting the postcode in etc, however, I noticed on BT's website it didn't come up (however, a few of the other flats at the same address did come up).
A bit of digging later and I put the postcode in here https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL and clicked on my address, however, instead of showing me any information (which it does do for a few of the other flats at the same address, which I reference above), it says "Your address has been successfully matched; however we cannot determine ADSL availability at this address. Please try the Telephone Number or Postcode Checker".
My Googling would suggest that it's because a phone line hasn't been activated but am I right or wrong in saying that? Also, if I go with a Sky TV+Broadband+Phone package, will they sort this out for me or is there something else I need to do (e.g. do I need to get the line activated myself)?
Annoyingly, I think due to the flat not being on the list, Sky's minimum speed guarantee is far below what it is for the few flats which are listed properly.
Any help would be much appreciated because I'm not sure where to start but do of course want to make sure the connection is up and running soon after getting the keys due to WFH.
