I'm having a play with virtual PC 2007 and want to find a internet browser for Windows 95. Can anyone recomend the best one to use and more importantly where to get it from as it seem hard to get a copy of Netscape 3 or 4.

Windows 95 is suprisingly fast when run on a PC with 3ghz Core Duo 2, 512mb ram and running of a ram disk.

Looks like Internet Explorer 5 will work.

Why the hell are you playing with such a useless OS!? If you want speed and to play, have a look at something different like linux, otherwise stick to XP :)

Probably because he wants to access some programs that may only work with it. I use Win98 and XP via VMWare here, because some old 16bit apps like an old version of Lotus Organiser won't run on the latter.

I'm just having a play with it for fun i have no plans to uninstall XP and use it as my deafult OS. I also think your being a bit hash on Win95 as it was a hugh improvement on Windows 3.11 that most people were using at the time.

Thanks for everyone else suggestion i will see if i can get Firefox to work on it.
