Internet connection - Advice needed!

Right ill start off with whats happened over the last 4/5 weeks.

We started having radom periods of disconnection and after a week we'd lost all adsl related lights on the router. Fearing it was the router at fault we bought another one and that didnt help. Contacted plusnet whodid some tests/maintenance on the line which still didnt help.

BT eventually got sent round and it worked (they didnt say what they;d done). But about 6 hours later the internet connection was gone again. Contacted Plusnet again and they placed an order with BT for a Cease and Reprovide. This went through however was unsuccesful, no sync whatsoever.

Have contacted plusnet again and they suggested it was our equipment again. I have exhausted all possibilities of problems at our house (or so i believe). Tried master socket 1st, used several different routers and changed the filters numerous times.

Now i really am at a loss what to do.

Any suggestions, my sister needs internet badly as she's a teacher so its pretty important to us!

If you've tried a new router at the master socket (you don't have to use filters, but you do need to disconnect all the extensions), there isn't much you can do bar continuing to bug PN.
 
Yeh have tried it with everything disconnected. Theyre wanting to send BT out again which is impractical atm (parents in thailand, sister at work during the day, me at uni) however i pointed out that BT fixed it last time for a few hours, then they replied saying that they would do more tests before they suggest getting BT out AGAIN!

Plusnet have been so good up until now. But to be fair, the problems have seemed to be with BT so far.
