OK, so I have recently changed to an ADSL2+ ISP (Be*) and am having occasional disconnects (one per 1 - 3 days). Nothing to cry about unless eBay or Gaming.
Tried:
Different Modem
Removal of line voltage (worked wonders for the speed)
Asked Be* to move me to a higer SnR (about 9 now)
In progress of testing filter (one phone and modem into one filter in master socket)
I am beginning to suspect a filter (lets hope so) but any other ideas?
stats:
Uptime: 0 days, 23:32:39
Modulation: G.992.5 Annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,217 / 10,367
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 17.99 / 337.26
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 17.0 / 34.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 9.5 / 8.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / µ
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 56 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 29,142,626
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 2,403 / 72
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 882 / 41
I would love to know about that FEC error down count. If someone could shed some light, that would be great.
Thanks!
