Hey,

I've just started to use my new pc, so i thought i may plug my ethernet cable in. So i did and it connect ok etc, then when i tryed the intenet i get nothing... So i went to "Network Connections" and clicked on the LAN Connection and click the tab "Support". I checked that everything was there, and it was. I clicked on "Repair" and got a message saying:-

"The following steps of the repair operation failed: Purgining the DNS Resolver cache. Please contact your network administrator or ISP".

I then tryed the ethernet cable in my laptop and it was fine!

Any Idea's on my new pc won't let me access the net?

Thanks Matt

I've tried everything you've told me and still no look.

Would you like me to post a few print screen's of my problem?

Thanks Matt

P.S,

I now have a wireless router now, and that is hooked up to my PC. I am recieving the internet fine through wireless on lappy, but still getting nothing to the PC, through ethernet.
