Well after many probs with my internet connection i installed a new router/modem

For the first hour it was fine then all of a sudden again the connection drops and no internet left it for 10 minsand went off came back 2 mins ago and all is fine

Well the new Dlink modem has saved a log and on the last page it reads

This

Jan 1 12:29:04> DSL in Sync
Jan 1 12:29:04> DSL out of sync
Jan 1 12:29:04> DSL in Sync
Jan 1 12:29:07> DSL out of sync
Jan 1 12:29:07> DSL in Sync
Jan 1 12:29:07> DSL out of sync
Jan 1 12:29:07> DSL in Sync
Jan 1 12:29:08> DSL out of sync

Does that look good or bad and could anyone please shed some light onto what the fault maybe

Thank you

If you're losing synch then you've pretty obviously got a problem, but it could be anything - the line, router, bits at the exchange, wee green men...
