Internet disconnecting every 10-60 seconds on one pc

Hi,

It seems my PC/Router/Home plug are playing up and i'm not sure which.

Basically my internet seems to disconnect and reconnect every 10-60 seconds, and repeat constantly meaning i can't seem to get a constant connection for maybe more than a minute or two at max.

It is only happening on one pc, not laptops, other desktop, phones/tablets.
Is there a chance it is a virus or could it be my homeplug acting up?

I've tried changing all the Ethernet cables and restarting the router/modem several times but to no avail.

If it's just the one PC then it's probably the PC, I.E the NIC.
I'm assuming you've disconnected the PC and used a known working laptop on the same cable to rule out the connection to the router?

Pretty dumb of me not to think of that but one if the home plugs does not light up anymore when plugged into the mains so think I've got my problem as it doesn't work at all now.
