Internet Explorer 8/9 crashes on exit...

Hey guys,

I've been looking a friends pc that seems to have an issue with ie; it likes to almost continually crash on exit - it's happened with ie8 and even after I updated it to version 9.

When I first looked at it I suspected a dodgy plugin - I removed a load of 'suspicious ones; coupon printer, shopper helper etc, all spam :)

Any ideas? Isn't there a way of repairing IE? Sure I used it a while back...

In vista btw.
 
Can't you disable all of the add-ons? If that solves the problem, re-enable them one at a time until you isolate the offending one.

My money would be on Skype.
