The webslice/activities functions seem nice after testing it on ebay.
That is about the only good point I can think of mentioning.

Yes its only beta and intended for web developers and designers but its not worth installing this unless you fall into the above category due to it failing to render a lot of sites correctly in some shape or form including ebay which I find amusing as that is one of the key sites for showcasing the webslice functionality.

No official release dated, but they're aiming for the end of 2008 the last I heard. So you're probably right, 2009.
