Internet Explorer 8 RC1 due Monday

Hasn't IE8 RC1 been available for at least the last few months, albeit under the psuedonym of the private "developer release"?

At least, my "developer release" says RC1 and not Beta 2 under "update versions".

I did a forensic analysis on the traces it leaves on the host PC last week. The 'InPrivate' mode is rubbish, it does delete the browser activity but does not securely overwrite, so it is a simple matter to rebuild it.

I do not understand why browsers don't have an in-built shred upon exit. Then again perhaps I shouldn't moan, it makes my life easier ;)

The Current IE 8 beta will not allow me to reply to e-mails via Microsoft Exchange Web Access. Just brings up a red X in the field where you can start typing.

Not been using due to this. Although I'm a Firefox man ;)

There's a patch that needs to be installed on the exchange server for that ;)

I have been using IE8 BETA for a while now, initially found it crashes on some sites until i set it to always use compatability mode, been ok since then... hopefully the RC1 will address these issues?
