Internet Explorer at Startup

How do I stop my pc from booting into the IE screen at start up ? It doesn't actually boot into the internet, just the connection box ? I have looked at msconfig but it doesn't appear to be able to switch off from there.

You need to run an anti spyware app like spyblaster, you may have malware or a pron dialer installed !

Do you mean a spyware prog is causing it ? I have spybot but haven't ran it for a while.

what is malware or pron dialler ?

I mean; it sounds like your machine is infected with spyware, so you need to run a program like spyblaster to find and remove the infected files.

some site will download and install software on your pc that will dial a premium rate number to access a porn site, these are porn dialers.
