Internet Explorer Beta 2 released

It's not unsurprising though. The last thing they released was a beta 2 preview... and this is 'final' beta 2.

No problems installing it here. Runs fine for me. Acrobat has integrated fine.

Downloaded it fine but it cannot get on to any websites :confused:

Firefox does though so it's not my connection.

Bah, pos. Installed it on my lappy 2 days ago and it throws up script errors whenever I try to bookmark something, which is followed by either IE7 crashing or the OS giving me the BSOD

Installed it here and when I opened IE it just closed itself down again. Uninstalled and re-installed, seems to be ok now.

I do hope all of you that are having problems are submitting your problems to Microsoft?

Aggghh

CCCleaned the uninstall for IE7 (the first Beta) & now can't remove it! Even tried this & before anyone asks/says, I don't have system restores and my backups will not help. Might have to do a reinstall of Windows which I can't really afford now

It *breaks* Outlook Express mate. The old beta did too, and I thought that this well known and widely reported bug might have been fixed in the latest beta. Silly me

Why bother when they ignore them - like the Outlook Express bug. Or having the stupid word 'links' on the bookmark toolbar - I mean why?

I still can't get over how goddamn ugly and unusable the new interface is - whoever thought it was a good idea should be fired or something.

All a matter of opinion, if you got used to it I think you'd like it. Having used it for some time I think it's the best browser interface yet, they've dared try something a bit unusual rather than leave everything in the same place. The IE 7 beta has replaced Firefox as my browser of choice....

No, I really wouldn't

Not until they give me the option to make it look like either IE6 or Firefox. ie. large buttons with text underneath, not those silly piddly little buttons which are spread out all over the place.

Sorry dude, didn't understand you first time round. I think it's probably because IE7 is a new "generation" compared to OE. When the OE replacement comes along everything will probably be right in the world again.

Although the lack of compatibility between products from the same company really does get to me after a while.

I'm having trouble importing my favourites from file to ie7, anyone actually managed to do so without any problems from file?

Help me!
