Internet explorer cannot display the webpage - Facebook

when trying to go to Facebook with Internet Explorer I get that message

try to open Facebook with Firefox and it crashes the PC!

any ideas ?

Just posted in your GD thread but try this

Try resetting IE.

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced > Click Reset Button (Leave the box unchecked.

Once that is done update Flash and Java.

No problem

IE seems to break every so often and needs a reset, at least from my experience.

Had the same thing happen to a customer today too...just facebook... rest of her bookmarked pages were fine...worked fine in chrome though.

Exactly why I try to avoid IE where possible.

If only my CCTV DVR didn't use ActiveX for the remote viewing...
