Internet Explorer (no add-ons)

I don't use IE very much anymore but I've noticed its running with add-ons turned off and I can't get them back on which is a problem on quite a few websites I use it for. I've followed the usual way through accessories and changing system tools but it won't change

any idea's what might be wrong my MS updates are all done???

I just had the same thing on my dad's laptop - I just typed iexplore on the command line and its all back working.

this was a quick fix requires me to do this everytime I fire up IE, any permanent ways of sorting this out????

Try this to fix your IE. It hasn't come back for me yet.
