hey all,

I have several pc's that i have to set up. The main thing thats causeing me a headache is that i have to change loads of the options in internet options.

Stuff like, disable pop up blocker, enable active x downloads for signed and unsinged websites, allow auto running of active x scripts and such.

most of the changes are part of the scrollable options and require a simple tick in the box.

I also have to add a trusted site and set upa proxy for internet access (in lan settings)

my question.

Is there any way to automate this???

I think i know the answer as no, but i thought it was worth a pop. I have checked to see if iexplore.exe has any command line switches, which it doesn't.

Any ideas?

Most of that stuff lives in the registry...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

The usual cautions apply to registry editing. :)
