Ok whenever i download a file, be it spybot, winzip, nvidia drivers e.t.c it downloads then a box pops up saying:

"Internet Explorer - Security Warning

Windows has found a problem with this file"

then i go to the location i downloaded the file to, and click on it then run, then it either dosent open at all and says its corrupt in some way, or it opens and starts to install then comes up with an error that a file is missing e.t.c.

Now there is no problems with the files im downloading they are all off reputable websites, and work on other pc's. so any known fixes for this??

Quick responses welcome :) before i go mad and reformate!

Cheers.

ok so i installed NOD 32 the other day, realised i had a prob with progs i downloaded as mentioned above, so today I reformatted, then installed nod32, which created the prob again, so i reformatted yet again, and now i havent installed nod32, and everything is fine, think ill be going for either AVG + windows firewall/nforce firewall or the Kaspersky internet suite for all in one protection.
