Internet history problem

Ok whenever I clear my history 1 or 2 sites remain, there not viewable in the history folder but if you type a website in they pop up as a suggested address you are going to. Any ideas how to stop this?

I'm not but it's a bit annoying when you've only ever viewed the website once and it stays in you're history forever.

Probably need to clear cookies and files as well.

Are you using Firefox or IE? Firefox has a handy "clear private data" option which wipes everything. If you're using IE, try clearing the autocomplete history (Tools - Internet options - content - autocomplete - clear forms).

No I'm not using firefox but I've already tried you're suggestion and nothing I really don't get why its doing this.
