Internet Intermittent Timeouts :( (Tracert Screens inside.)

Hey all,

I'm having issues where websites won't load, but after a refresh or two, they load fine. Can anyone suggest where to go/what to look at from here? Is it something I should take up with my ISP? Virgin 50mbit btw.

What DNS servers are you using? Try changing to Google DNS or open DNS

I've always used OpenDNS, infact I changed from that to virgins just before running the tests, but the problem remained.

Everytime I ping a site I don't think it has any trouble resolving the IP.

It seems to be fine when it leaves virgin, try the bbc website

Possibly the web browser? are you using FF? (the tracert timing out is just the device not responding, it wont have any effect on the page loading).

Could try a different browser?
