Hi all

Ive put my new build together and today have installed Windows 10, Set up network connectivity and its showing full signal strength but time to time it says Issue connecting to internet please refresh page...

Once refreshed it works but often comes up with this message,

Also Steam doesn't connect to servers and I Installed uPlay and tried creating an account but it says Unable to create account network error...

Ive plugged in the WiFi dongle that came with the Motherboard, So the signal shouldn't be an issue...

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Try changing your DNS servers to the Google ones. The setting should be in your router settings somewhere. Google DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Ive been playing PUBG a lot today and most of the time its smooth, a handful of times ive had a little symbol on screen saying 'Network Lag' Whats the best way to deal with Lag?

Sorry to sound silly but where do I find those settings?

Without knowing exactly what router you've got I can't say. Should be fairly obvious in your router settings somewhere. I find most isp supplied DNS servers to be lacking compared to the likes of Google or OpenDNS.

That's not a valid point, you can't connect to my wifi network.. It will be subject to the usual wifi interference issues. How many rooms between you and the router?

I'm in the same room as the router. Majority of the time its perfect connection just from time to time I get lag and sometimes when I browse the net I get the message above (Imgur link in recent post)

You got it, you should always use a cable as preference, especially if you are gaming, it's significantly more reliable.

Gone to use the nite this morning and its got no connection what so ever, I click the internet logo at the bottom of screen and it spins, loads but says unable to load... WiFi is full strength and works on our mobiles and catch up tv etc but not the PC surely this isn't anything to do with the WiFi dongle
