Internet link question!

Hi people!
I wonder if someone can help me?
When i get an email with a link to click on or if any of my software needs upgrading and i click on the link it always open i.e. on the home page?
I always use firefox and its been doing it for a while and its doing my head in now!
Any help would be good! cheers! John!

check your tab options in Firefox, its probably set so all new tabs load with the homepage, if thats what your meaning?
